Thank you for visiting our website and for your interest in the Antioch Rotary Club.
Since 1947, Antioch Rotarians have been actively serving people in our community and in other countries, in the areas of literacy, clean water, health, hunger and disaster relief. Since 1985, we have supported Rotary International’s global efforts to eradicate polio.
Made up of Antioch business and community leaders, our Rotary club has provided free dictionaries to Antioch third graders, curb cuts in downtown Rivertown, coats for kids, food for the hungry, Christmas gifts to the needy, Easter Baskets to local students, wheelchairs for the lame and job training for disadvantaged women, sent students to both summer leadership and business camps and hosted students from other countries through Rotary Youth Exchange. We also built the gazebo and helped fund the Sports Legends wing at the Antioch Historical Society museum, In addition, our members started and support a vision & dental clinic, and library in Zimba, Zambia. This year we have added new projects including chartering two high school-level Interact Clubs, contributing to Food Banks and helping fund the distribution of dictionaries to students in Zimba.
If you want to make a difference in our community and the world, and experience the fun and fellowship of like-minded individuals committed to Service Above Self, I invite you to join us. We meet Thursdays at Noon at the Lone Tree Golf Course & Event Center. For more information or to join Rotary, talk to a member of our club or call Membership Co-Chairs Jennifer Seidelman at (925) 864-2888 or Minh Nguyen at Minh.Nguyen@bankofthewest.com.
